There are more than a 1,000 miles of coastline in Florida and no part of the state is more than 60 miles from saltwater. Florida’s beaches are blessed with soft sand and warmed by the semi tropical sun.

Clearwater Beach is ranked No.1 in the gulf area!

Offering just about every water and beach activity imaginable, Clearwater Beach has been named the top city beach in the Gulf region. Pier 60 Park features a family recreation complex on Clearwater's expansive beach with covered playgrounds, fishing and concessions. The Sunsets at Pier 60 festival features music, entertainment and a beautiful Gulf of Mexico sunset throughout the year.

Fort De Soto Beach

True to a beach that has been ranked number one in the continental United States, Fort De Soto Park offers 900 unspoiled acres and seven miles of beaches. A unique area made up of five islands, the park features a fort built during the Spanish-American War on the largest of the islands, Mullet Key. Two fishing piers, camping areas, a concession stand, bathroom facilities and covered picnic shelters are available. Fort De Soto Park also offers a popular biking and skating trail as well as rental facilities for canoes, kayaks and bicycles. There is a toll on the bridges leading into the park.

Caladesi Island

Home to a beach that has been ranked the fifth best in the entire U.S., Caladesi Island is ideal for swimming, shelling, fishing, picnics, snorkeling, scuba diving and nature study. This state park features a three-mile nature trail winding through the island's interior, a snack bar, shelters and docks for private boats. The park opens daily from 8 a.m. to sunset. A ferry departs hourly from nearby Honeymoon Island.


Daytona Beach is located on Florida’s Central East Coast, just an hour’s drive from Orlando, and is accessible form Interstates 4 and 95.

Famous for its 23 miles of beach and the ability to take a drive down the sands.
Your day at the beach can include a little soft adventure or total relaxation. Go parasailing, fishing or surfing. Or ease into a beach chair and enjoy the soothing sounds of the Atlantic Ocean.

The beach is accessible 24 hours every day. Driving on the hard packed sands is only allowed during daytime hours and in designated sections. Drivers must follow a strict 10 mile per hour speed limit. There are also four pedestrian only sections including a 1 mile stretch around the Main Street Pier.

Ocean Walk Village, the areas newest shopping, dining and entertainment district overlooks the ocean, Downtown Daytona Beach offers a diverse array of shops and restaurants in Riverfront Marketplace.
